Elegant consulting firm fit-out with African twist Korn Ferry

Characterised by a subtle and elegant African twist on the global Korn Ferry brand standards, the space conveys the multi-national firm’s essence with local touches seamlessly woven in.

Visitors are welcomed into a neutral space where warm timbers offset the cool grey and white tones. Custom-designed wallpaper inspired by African cloth is the first hint of the understated African touches seen throughout. Orangebox Avi chairs upholstered in the distinctive Korn Ferry green add a pop of colour.

The client meeting space continues the subtle aesthetic, with dark grey carpeting in the passage transitioning into the lighter boardroom carpets with a jagged bleed. Wallpapers in the meeting rooms are custom-made derivatives of the one in reception. Visual interest is achieved with up-and-down linear lights, while natural light penetrates into the passageway through an upward fade vinyl that lends privacy for meetings. Korn Ferry often have high profile executives frequent their offices and a seamless flow, as well as privacy, was essential.

In the open plan workspace, staff are treated to a feast of colours from the brand’s secondary palette used around the periphery of the space. The result is a bright, bold and less-serious area that is expertly balanced by the muted desking.

Focus rooms, phone booths, collaboration tables and internal meeting spaces of various sizes allow for flexibility.

The canteen is welcoming and modern, with striking custom-designed wallpaper incorporating pops of green and orange from the company’s primary colour palette.
