Tétris was appointed to relocate TYME’s 70 staff members from their office and laboratory to be housed under one roof, allowing for future growth in a space that caters for 194 open plan workstations and a canteen. Together with the client, we collaboratively worked through the design process, making sure that we not only met the client brief, but went beyond.
The layout of the space is strictly open plan with no dedicated offices, incorporating meeting pods with visually impactful acoustic panels, providing privacy when needed. Dividing screens and the placement of meeting rooms and boardrooms between the areas assist in breaking up the open plan spaces. Fresh planters add colour and greenery to the working environment. Every area has a different feel. The reception has a warm contemporary feel with a bold and functional QR code on the floor, while the canteen has a completely different ambience with bold colours, adding a fun element to the space.
The collaborative approach that the Tétris team brought to the project meant that we were involved throughout the process. Tétris conceptualised and delivered a space that meets our needs and inspires our staff. We will continue to work with Tétris on projects going forward and confidently recommend them to others.
